High school student Hajima Kimitaka returns to his hometown of Fukuoka after causing trouble at the Tokyo high school volleyball club. There, he meets his childhood friend, Yuniko Kuroba, who has outstanding physical abilities but becomes vulnerable under pressure. Hajima, with his strong passion and talent for volleyball, forms an excellent combination with Kuroba. The two enter Sein High School and join the school's volleyball club. His teammates include Captain Shinichi Oda, 163 cm tall with a warm personality, Second Captain Ayuki Misao, talented and quick-witted, and third-year students Akito Kanou, who always wears a long-sleeved shirt because of his sunlight allergy. The newly formed team breaks free from its old weaknesses and becomes the new star of Fukuoka. This story is about a team's journey to victory, facing formidable rivals along the way.
